Procurement Officer Full Time

Tope Edu Designs is looking to hire a detail-oriented Procurement Officer to lead the sourcing and acquisition of high-end materials and furnishings. You will be responsible for managing the entire procurement lifecycle—from identifying new global and local suppliers to preparing comprehensive FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) schedules. Your role is critical in ensuring our luxury projects are executed with the highest quality items, delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Supplier Management: Proactively identify and vet new local and international suppliers to expand our network of high-end vendors.
• FF&E Scheduling: Prepare, manage, and update detailed FF&E schedules, ensuring every item aligns with the design intent and project specifications.
• End-to-End Procurement: Manage the full purchasing process, including requesting quotes, negotiating pricing/terms, issuing purchase orders, and tracking payments.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Communicate constantly with suppliers and logistics partners to monitor production timelines and coordinate seamless deliveries to project sites.
• Quality Control: Manage inspections of procured items to ensure they meet the firm’s quality standards before final installation.
• Budget Oversight: Track procurement expenses against project budgets and provide regular financial reports to management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: HND or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in procurement, specifically within the interior design, architecture, or luxury construction industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (for scheduling) and procurement software; familiarity with reading architectural drawings is a plus.
• Negotiation: Strong commercial awareness with a track record of negotiating favorable terms and building long-term vendor relationships.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing complex vendor and stakeholder relationships.
