Architect Full Time

We are a design-led interior architecture studio working on refined residential and hospitality projects with a strong emphasis on materiality, detailing, spatial quality and execution.

We are seeking a highly capable Architect with 3–5 years of professional experience to support projects from concept development through technical documentation and construction delivery. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical knowledge, excellent drawing ability, site coordination experience and a deep understanding of how thoughtful design is translated into built reality.

This role is suited to someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of balancing design sensitivity with technical rigour.

Key Responsibilities

Design Development

• Assist in the development of architectural and interior design concepts
• Translate conceptual ideas into coordinated technical drawing packages
• Produce space planning layouts, elevations, sections and detailed construction drawings
• Develop bespoke joinery, staircase, wall, ceiling and bathroom details
• Coordinate material selections and technical specifications

Technical Documentation

• Produce accurate and technically sound construction documentation
• Prepare detailed drawing packages suitable for tender and site execution
• Develop schedules including: Door schedules; Ironmongery schedules; Finishes schedules; Sanitaryware schedules; Lighting schedules; and Joinery schedules;
• Coordinate consultant information across architectural, structural and MEP disciplines.
• Assist with BOQ coordination and tender documentation where required

Project Coordination & Site Delivery

• Participate in project coordination meetings
• Liaise with contractors, fabricators, consultants and suppliers
• Conduct site visits and assist with construction administration
• Review shop drawings and monitor site implementation against design intent
• Track RFIs, revisions and site issues
• Assist with project programmes and timelines

Studio Standards

• Maintain organised drawing records and revision control
• Support the studio in developing technical standards and drawing systems
• Contribute to a collaborative, detail-focused studio culture

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
• 3–5 years professional experience in architecture or high-end interior architecture projects
• Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge
• Demonstrated experience producing detailed construction drawing packages
• Site coordination and project delivery experience essential
• Proficiency in: AutoCAD (essential), SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Revit (advantageous but not mandatory)
• Strong understanding of materials, fabrication and construction methodologies
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
