Studio Contra is an architectural, urban and interior design practice based in Lagos, Nigeria working across all scales and contexts. We are committed to the delivery of innovative and thoughtful contemporary architecture for clients with an equal enthusiasm for design.

We respect the need for buildings to respond to their context, to stand the test of time, to be environmentally sustainable and to continually surprise, delight and engage us. We believe that for a project to have impact three things are required, concept, culture and craft: a strong conceptual underpinning, a sense of being rooted in culture and environment, and skillful craftsmanship in execution.
